1. Internet Protocol Address is an address that computing devices such as personal computers, or smartphones use to communicate with each other using the Internet. Similar to property and addresses, every website will have an IP address, a set of numbers, to identify it. An IP address shows ownership, allows the machine to be located by other machines, and allows authorities to protect people's safety, if need be.
